Prunus sunset boulevard is a deciduous tree and a member of the Rosaceae family, originating from Kalmthout Arboretum in Belgium. It has a narrow and upright growth habit, growing in columnar form but ends up oval-shaped at maturity.

The crown of the tree is shaped like a vase with attractive leaves and flowers, but it doesn’t produce fruits. The leaves emerge bronze-green in spring, turn dark green in summer and finally become golden-red in autumn. Also, the leaves are oval with serrated edges and the flowers appear as clusters of single, large, white flowers that are stained with pink.
